Account Creation and Verification (KYC)
- Registration process: When creating an Account, you must provide accurate and complete information, including your full name, date of birth, residential address, email address, and any other details requested on the registration form. You must verify your email address through the confirmation process communicated to you.
- KYC documents: To comply with UK regulatory and AML obligations, we may request documents such as a copy of your passport or driving licence, proof of address (e.g. utility bill or bank statement), and, where appropriate, evidence of source of funds or source of wealth. You agree to supply requested documents promptly, in legible form, and to ensure they are genuine.
- Account activation and restrictions: We may restrict deposits, betting, withdrawals, or access to certain products until KYC checks are completed to our satisfaction. Failure to provide requested information may lead to suspension or closure of your Account and, where required by law, withholding of funds until obligations are met.
User Obligations and Security
- Accuracy of data: You must keep your registration details up to date and notify us of any changes (for example, change of address or email). Providing false or misleading information, including using another person's identity, is a serious breach of these Terms and may result in immediate Account closure and reporting to relevant authorities.

Betting & Gameplay Rules
General Betting Conditions
- Product scope: The bet-barter-united-kingdom services on barters.bet include, as applicable, sports betting, virtuals, online casino, live casino, and other games. Each product may have its own specific rules and pay-tables, which form part of these Terms and take precedence where they conflict.
- Placing a Bet: A Bet is accepted only when our servers register it as confirmed. Once you submit a Bet and receive confirmation, it will be deemed placed and cannot ordinarily be cancelled by you. You are responsible for ensuring that all Bet details (selection, stake, market, and any applicable conditions) are correct before confirming.
- Minimum and maximum stakes: Each game or market has specific minimum and maximum stake limits, which are displayed on the Website or within the relevant game interface. We may adjust limits at our discretion, including setting personalised limits for risk management or safer gambling reasons.
- Order of balance use: Unless otherwise indicated, Bets are placed using your Real Money Balance first, followed by your Bonus Balance where a promotion specifically permits. Certain Bets may be restricted to bonus funds or to real-money funds only, as stated in the relevant promotional or game rules.
Bet Acceptance, Cancellation, and Settlement
- Right to refuse or limit Bets: We may refuse the whole or part of any Bet request, limit the stake, or apply bespoke limits without obligation to provide a detailed explanation, provided that such action is not arbitrary or discriminatory and complies with our UKGC obligations.
- Obvious errors ("palpable errors"): If a Bet is accepted at an obviously incorrect price, terms, or event outcome due to an error (for example, a clear mispricing or an incorrect event listing), we reserve the right to void the Bet or to settle it at the correct terms that should reasonably have applied at the time.
- Event settlement: Bets will be settled based on the official result as declared by the relevant governing body or game provider. In the event of conflicting reports or uncertainty, our decision, acting reasonably and in accordance with the published rules, will be final.
- Technical failures: If an interruption, system failure, or disconnection occurs after a Bet has been placed but before it is confirmed as accepted by our servers, the Bet may be deemed not placed. If a game round is disrupted after commencement due to a technical fault, it may be voided and stakes returned or the round restored to its pre-fault state using our game logs, in line with our regulatory obligations.
Conduct in Live Casino and Chats
- Respectful behaviour: You must behave respectfully towards dealers, other players, and staff in any live casino, chat, or community functions on barters.bet. Abusive, discriminatory, threatening, defamatory, or harassing language or behaviour is strictly prohibited.
- Prohibition of cheating and fraud: Any form of collusion, use of bots or automated systems, exploitation of bugs, or other attempts to gain an unfair advantage is forbidden. We may void affected Bets, withhold winnings, close Accounts, and report suspected fraud or criminal activity to relevant authorities.
- No solicitation or advertising: You must not use chat or any communication features to promote other websites, share personal contact details, recruit players, or engage in any form of commercial activity.
- Moderation and records: We may monitor and record chat communications to enforce these Terms, ensure player safety, and meet regulatory obligations. We may mute, restrict, or suspend chat access or your Account in response to misconduct.
Safer Gambling and Player Protection
- Safer Gambling Tools: As required under UK regulation, barters.bet provides Safer Gambling Tools, including but not limited to deposit limits, loss limits, session time reminders, time-outs, and self-exclusion facilities. Details are available on the Safer Gambling pages of the Website.
- Self-exclusion and time-outs: If you feel you are losing control of your gambling, you should consider using self-exclusion or time-out functions. During self-exclusion, you will not be permitted to use your Account, and we will take reasonable steps to prevent you from opening new Accounts with bet-barter-united-kingdom on barters.bet.
- Protection of minors: You must not allow anyone under 18 to use your Account or access the gambling services. You should use parental-control software where minors have access to your devices.
Bonus Terms
General Bonus Conditions
- Separate promotional rules: From time to time, bet-barter-united-kingdom on barters.bet may offer Bonuses such as welcome offers, free bets, free spins, cashback, or loyalty rewards. Each promotion is governed by specific terms and conditions displayed on the Website at the time of the offer, which apply in addition to these Terms. In the event of inconsistency, the specific promotional terms prevail.
- Eligibility and fairness: Bonuses are intended for recreational players and may be limited to specific jurisdictions, products, or customer segments. We may withhold or withdraw a Bonus where we reasonably suspect abuse, bonus-hunting, or participation in a promotion by ineligible persons, provided we act fairly and in accordance with UK regulations.
Bonus Activation and Wagering Requirements
- Activation: Some Bonuses activate automatically when you meet qualifying criteria (for example, making a first deposit of a stated minimum amount), while others require the use of a bonus code or manual opt-in. The activation method will be clearly described in the relevant promotion.
- Wagering requirements: Unless expressly stated otherwise, Bonus funds and any winnings derived from them are subject to wagering requirements before they become withdrawable. For example, a Bonus may require you to wager the combined value of Bonus and deposit a certain number of times within a specified period. Progress towards wagering may vary by game type.
- Timeframe for use: Bonuses and associated wagering requirements will specify an expiry period (for example, "30 days from crediting" or "7 days from issue of free spins"). If the wagering requirements are not met within the stated timeframe in 2025 or later equivalent offers, the Bonus and any winnings derived from it may be removed.
- Stake contribution: Different games may contribute differently towards wagering requirements (for example, slots contributing 100%, selected table games contributing a lower percentage, and some games not contributing at all). The contribution table will be stated in the promotional terms.
Prohibited Actions and Bonus Abuse
- Irregular play: The following may be considered irregular play or Bonus abuse: placing large Bets relative to the Bonus amount shortly after qualifying; reducing risk on eligible Bets (for example, backing both sides); colluding with other players; using multiple Accounts; or exploiting software or game malfunctions to secure guaranteed profit or progress.
- Restricted games or stakes: Certain games or bet types may be excluded from Bonus play or may have maximum stake limits when using Bonus funds. These restrictions will be stated in the relevant promotional terms. Placing Bets in breach of such restrictions may result in forfeiture of the Bonus and related winnings.
- Fraud and chargebacks: We may cancel Bonuses, void Bets, and withhold winnings where we reasonably suspect fraud, money laundering, or chargeback activity, and we may report the matter to law-enforcement or regulatory authorities as required.
Combining Promotions
- One active offer at a time: Unless stated otherwise, you may not hold more than one active Bonus on your Account at the same time. Participation in a new promotion may require completion or forfeiture of any existing Bonus.
- Priority of terms: Where multiple promotions are available, you are responsible for checking which offer you are opting into and how it interacts with other offers. We will endeavour to make this clear, but your continued participation constitutes acceptance of the applicable terms.
- Operator's discretion: We reserve the right, acting reasonably and in compliance with UK consumer protection rules, to amend or withdraw promotions for future customers, to limit eligibility, or to correct errors, while honouring commitments already made to existing participants.
Payments & Withdrawals
Deposit Methods and Limits
- Available methods: Deposits to your Account on barters.bet may be made using supported payment methods such as debit cards, selected e-wallets, bank transfers, and any other method clearly displayed in the cashier. For players in Great Britain, deposits by credit card are not permitted. Crypto-asset payments are not currently offered for UK-licensed services, even if such methods may exist for international customers.
- Ownership of payment instruments: You may only use payment methods that are in your own name. We may request evidence that you are the legitimate holder of any card, account, or wallet used, and may suspend or void transactions where we reasonably suspect misuse.
- Minimum and maximum limits: Minimum and maximum deposit limits apply and are displayed in the cashier. We may also apply personalised limits based on risk assessment, Safer Gambling considerations, or regulatory requirements, and may request additional information before accepting higher-value deposits.
Withdrawal Rules and Processing Times
- Withdrawal method and route: Where possible, withdrawals will be processed back to the same method used for deposit, subject to technical and regulatory constraints. We may require you to withdraw via a particular method to comply with AML rules and to ensure that funds are returned to their original source.
- Verification before payment: We may conduct KYC and AML checks before processing withdrawals, including verifying your identity, address, and source of funds. Failure to provide requested information may result in delays or refusal of withdrawals until our obligations are met.
- Processing timeframe: We aim to process withdrawal requests within a reasonable time, typically within 1-2 Business Days after approval. Actual receipt of funds may take longer depending on your payment provider and banking system. We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party institutions.
- Fees and currency: Any applicable fees or currency-conversion charges will be clearly disclosed in the cashier or at the point of transaction. Where we levy a fee, it will be fair, proportionate, and not excessive in relation to our costs.
Balance Management, Refunds, and Reversals
- Account balance: Your Account balance consists of Real Money Balance and Bonus Balance. You may request withdrawal of Real Money Balance and eligible winnings at any time, subject to completion of verification checks and any applicable wagering requirements.
- Refunds of Bets and Bonuses: Bets that are voided (for example, due to event cancellation or palpable error) will ordinarily be refunded to your Account in the form of the original stake. If a Bonus or promotion has been granted in error or is affected by a technical or human mistake, we may remove or adjust it, provided we act fairly and in compliance with consumer protection rules.
- Chargebacks and unpaid debts: If a deposit is reversed, charged back, or otherwise cancelled, any winnings derived from that deposit may be forfeited, and any negative balance will be treated as a debt owed to us. We may take reasonable steps to recover such sums, including offsetting against future deposits or referring the matter to a collection agency where lawful.
- Dormant and inactive accounts: Where an Account has no logged-in activity for a prolonged period (for example, 12 months), we may treat it as inactive and follow our dormant-account process, including attempting to contact you and, where allowed by law, deducting a reasonable administration fee. Details will be provided on the Website and comply with UK requirements in force from 2025 onwards.
Limitation of Liability
Our Core Obligations
- Regulated operation: We operate the bet-barter-united-kingdom services on barters.bet under a licence from the Gambling Commission of Great Britain (account number 54321) and are obliged to offer games that are fair, to keep customer funds segregated in accordance with the level of protection disclosed on the Website, and to comply with all applicable regulations relating to consumer protection and safer gambling.
- Fairness and accuracy: Game outcomes are determined by certified random number generators or, in the case of live and event-based products, by official event results or physical game processes. We take reasonable steps to ensure that all information displayed (including odds, results, and balance information) is accurate, but minor and obvious errors may occur.
Exclusions and Limitations
- No guarantee of uninterrupted service: While we use reasonable efforts to keep barters.bet available at all times, we do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free access and accept no responsibility for any loss or damage arising from temporary unavailability, technical failures, maintenance, or events beyond our reasonable control (including failures of telecommunications or third-party systems).
- Indirect losses: To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of profits, business, data, goodwill, or any indirect or consequential losses arising out of your use of the services, whether in contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise.
- Player responsibility: You are solely responsible for the use of your Account, for ensuring that you understand the rules of any game or market before placing a Bet, and for decisions relating to your gambling. We are not responsible for losses incurred due to your own gaming decisions, betting strategies, or misinterpretation of the rules where these are reasonably clear.
- Maximum liability: Subject to the paragraph below and to mandatory legal rights that cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with any single Bet, game, or transaction shall not exceed the amount of the relevant stake or the amount actually paid into your Account by you in relation to that transaction, whichever is lower.
- Non-excludable rights: Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under the laws of England and Wales.

Ownership of Content and Software
- Proprietary rights: All intellectual property rights in and to the Website barters.bet, the bet-barter-united-kingdom brand, software, source code, databases, graphics, user interface, logos, trademarks, and all other content (collectively, the "IP Content") are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
- Limited licence: We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the IP Content solely for accessing and using the gambling services on barters.bet in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted, whether expressly or by implication.
Restrictions on Use

- No reverse engineering: You must not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to access the source code of any software used in connection with the bet-barter-united-kingdom services on barters.bet, except to the extent permitted by applicable law and then only after providing us with reasonable prior written notice.
- Third-party content: Games and services provided by third-party suppliers remain the property of those suppliers. You must comply with any additional terms displayed within such games.
Privacy & Data Protection
Processing of Personal Data
- Privacy Policy: Your personal data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms and is available on barters.bet. The Privacy Policy explains the categories of data we collect, the purposes of processing, the legal bases relied upon, retention periods, and your rights under applicable data protection laws in the UK.
- Regulatory and AML obligations: We may process your personal data to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, including those relating to the Gambling Commission, anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing, fraud prevention, affordability and source-of-funds assessments, and safer gambling requirements.
- Security: We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No system is entirely secure, but we adopt industry-standard controls and work with reputable providers.
Changes to Terms
Updates and Notification
- Right to amend: We may amend these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law or regulation, technical or security developments, product changes, or adjustments to our business practices, always in a manner consistent with our obligations to you under UK law.
- Notice of changes: Material changes will be notified to you via appropriate means, which may include a notice on barters.bet, an in-account message, a prominent banner, or an email to the address registered on your Account. The updated Terms will state the effective date, which will not be earlier than the date of publication, and will generally apply from 2025 onwards for subsequent updates.
Acceptance and Right to Terminate
- Continued use as acceptance: Your continued use of the Website and services after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with any change, you must stop using the services and close your Account.
- Closing your Account on change: If you choose to close your Account because you do not accept updated Terms, you may contact us to request withdrawal of any eligible Real Money Balance, subject to verification and applicable legal requirements. Any active Bets will be settled in accordance with the pre-existing rules, and Bonuses may be treated in accordance with the relevant promotional conditions.
Termination & Suspension
Operator's Right to Suspend or Close Accounts
- Grounds for action: We may suspend or close your Account, or restrict certain features, where we have reasonable grounds to believe that: (a) you have breached these Terms; (b) you are under 18 or otherwise ineligible; (c) you have provided false or misleading information; (d) you have engaged in fraud, money laundering, or other criminal activity; (e) you have engaged in Bonus abuse or irregular play; or (f) such action is required to comply with law, regulation, court order, or regulatory direction.
- Safeguarding investigations: During any investigation, we may withhold withdrawals, void pending Bets where permitted, and request further information from you. We will act reasonably and proportionately, having regard to our regulatory obligations and your rights.
Player-Initiated Closure and Self-Exclusion
- Voluntary closure: You may request closure of your Account at any time by contacting [email protected] or using the available account-management tools on barters.bet. We will close the Account within a reasonable time after fulfilling outstanding obligations.
- Self-exclusion: If you wish to stop gambling for a specified period or indefinitely, you may use our self-exclusion facilities. Self-exclusion is a serious step intended to assist with gambling-related harm; during an active self-exclusion, you must not attempt to open or use another Account with bet-barter-united-kingdom on barters.bet.
Consequences of Termination
- Funds on closure: Upon closure of your Account (whether by you or us), we will, subject to legal and regulatory requirements and to any ongoing investigation, return your eligible Real Money Balance to you using an appropriate payment method. Where funds are subject to a legal or regulatory freeze, they may be withheld until the matter is resolved.
- Bonuses and ongoing Bets: On termination, any active Bonuses may be cancelled in accordance with the relevant promotional terms. Open Bets may be settled as void or remain active and be settled normally, depending on the circumstances and our obligations under UK law and UKGC guidance.
- Retention of records: We may retain records relating to your Account, including personal data and transaction history, for as long as required by law, regulation, or legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention and regulatory reporting.
